As reported, it is small and efficient. Its maximum capacity is 5.0 kg with a range of 1.0 gr. Weighs in kg, oz, lb. Tested in the laboratory with standard weights, and did not notice any change in measurements. It is very useful in my kitchen
Cons:
Would you like to comment on the display. Could be changed to the same position, as when we put larger containers, the vision of the display is actually impaired.
Overall:
I'll buy some units to guard, as are excellent people to present a very low cost

well..what can i say - it sure does the job! accourate - I weighted a few items with known/mentioned total on their packs and yes it was right! its cheap. cheapest one here in cooking/appliance stores start from double and up.
Cons:
a bit plastic-ey feeling - the feel of a cheap plastic type of item. rather then that - it has no flaws.
Overall:
I bought 2 more - one for my neighbor who also needed something small for her kitchen. and one for my parents who use this for other things like packing small packages for sending through the mail! all of us really like this. buy it and you wont be sorry :)

This is a scale that fully do what it is supposed for. It seems very accurate. I tested it with a weight of 100 gr (that come as a calibration for another scale) and the scale displayed a value between 100 and 101 gr (you have thus a real 1gr precision).
Cons:
The manual documents a procedure to calibrate the scale, given a weight of 5, 3 or 1 kg. But such weight is not included and does not seems to be sold in Deal extreme. Not very problematic since the scale seems accurate as is.
Overall:
This scale is perfect for the kitchen or if you want to know how many stamps you have to put on your letter/post pack.

It weighs up to 5kg and has real 1g resolution.It's seems to be pretty accurate - I've tested it with different products (1kg of rice, pasta or whatever), and you can zero it if you place the recipient on the plate when off and then turn it on - that's indispensable and works OK.Pretty good screen, and you can choose between grames, pounds and ounces.It turns of automatically after a short time.
Cons:
The buttons have a not very good feeling. It seems like after 200 clicks they are going to break apart - the interface is cheap plastic made.
Overall:
It's a nice product if you just need to use it for some easy recipes, like me. Yesterday I made a delicious ice cream milk shake - mmm! and you know, you have to add 100g of chocolate ice cream, 50g of this, 25g of that... and it really helps for that.

For a scale of this standard, it would have cost more than $40. Usage is simple and straightforward. I am also impressed by its consistency in reading on a 8gm item.My wife simply loves it. You should seriously consider buying one if you need it.
