A 2*AAA powered bike rear light. I purchased a few different rear lights from DE at the same time. I tested each on by turing each to constant on and shining it against a white wall at the same time. This type was the brightest by a good margin.
Cons:
EXACTLY the same as http://www.dealexcel.com/p/3-led-bike-safety-strobe-light-3651.Seriously, I bought that one and this one at the same time and they were in the same packaging and all. So same product, different price.
Overall:
An excellent tail light, but go for sku.3651 as it is the same, but cheaper. At the time i write, sku.3651 is $2.95 and this one is $3.25.

Good quality of plastic. LEDs are bright enough. Very easy to open and close the case if you need to replace the batteries. It has different light modes - strobes fast and slow and continuous light. I can not predict battery life time, but in strobe mode it is expected to be very long.Installation is very easy. It can be installed on almost any bike. I am not sure if it is really waterproof, but it has a rubber seal between the case parts, so it should be at least "rain resistant".
Cons:
It has arrived with the lot of rust on the bracket screw. I suppose this screw is not a water-proof part of this light and i recommend to replace the screw with the new one during the first installation of the item. Actually, this is not a problem at all.
Overall:
Good value for the money. It works. You are visible in the night with this tail light insalled on your bike. Strobe mode is very useful.

It has a very bright and reflexive material/lights. Also, it is very economical and its batteries are lasting a long time. It is easy to install. Three useful modes: quick blinking, slow blinking, and steady light.
Cons:
Warning: Shape batteries contacts: I have cut my finger trying to remove batteries from it.The mount is not quite adjustable and I needed to find more rubber material to put behind by bike.
Overall:

Sometimes i feel that the red cover when taken out for replacing the batteries is delicate & one has to take care while opening the same. The place for putting the batteries is little tight.

It works perfectly, it has three modes and choosing whichever of them you will be visible from 500 meters.I use it on the bike, It fits my 31.6 cm seatpost, but it could also fit a thinner one as it has a rubber adaptor.It can also be attached to a belt and to the bike (my case) not needing anything else but what it is included in the package.It is lightweight even with the 2XAAA on it.
Cons:
None remarkable, perhaps build quality could be improved, but as I said it is not bad.

This is a very good light among the others here. It is very efficient or course, in blinking mode will last many hours. I got more than a month use with probably 5+ hours per week.All other factors being equal, it is a bonus that it looks pretty sleek on the seatpost compared to most other lights. I never like the looks of lights on a bike, but this looks cool, it is simple and trim, holds the light at a right angle from the bracket, does not look like an afterthought. You can fit it to any tube in the 20mm to maybe 35mm or so.I also like the use of AAA for rear lights because the package can stay small and light

Like all others using AAA, it's not going to have the "reach" of a higher current light as you can find on expensive lights that integrate with a high-power light system, but once you know that this will be the case for virtually all battery-operated rear lights, then you understand what to expect (hopefully).

The light is bright enough with fresh batteries. It might even be a little brighter than my previous light, which I bought from a local shop for twice the price of this one. I don't think there's a need for any brighter tail lights in bicycles, at least in my surroundings. It seems somewhat weatherproof but I haven't really had any first hand experience on that yet.
Cons:
The biggest con is that the light was defective when I first got it. The light was dim and one of the batteries kept heating up. I didn't know what to do with it so I unscrewed the little circuit board and just took a look at it to see if there was anything clearly wrong with it. I didn't notice anything so I screwed the board back on. I quess there was a bad contact somewhere, who knows, but after that the light started working properly. Other con is the plastic. Plastic just isn't very good option when temperature gets below the freezing point. It's not a huge problem though, if you're just careful enough when using the light during frosty winters.
Overall:
If the light keeps working like it is working at the moment it'll prove out to be a real bargain. The durability of the plastic parts is my only concern.

- Very bright light, improve your security during night rides.- Have 3 modes of lightning, but the most useful and visible is the blinking mode.- Is rain proof, not totally waterproof. Probably will not get damaged with rain, only if you sink it.- Strong and easy install hold support. You can fix it in almost all places that you want.- Can be easily removed to avoid steal.
Cons:
- The cliping support is not strong enough. If you ride trough rough terrain with strong shakes, it may fall. My solution is to use some elastic string to hold it better, maybe some plastic tape too if you're a hardcore biker.
Overall:
- Very good for the price. I'm using some old remote AAA batteries and they're blinking very strong. A good suggestion to drain all remaining power of your old AAA cells with conscience.

Great light for your bike. It is easy to use and easy to mount on your bike. Mine is mounted under my seat on the seat post and it is easy to turn on while riding or at a stop. The light has a all flash, static on, and a multi flash/strobe setting. The strobe setting is great and makes you(the rider) very visable

Could be a little brighter but is a great light for the price.
Overall:
Buy it. It is worth it and is not super cheap quality. I have had mine for quite a while and use it several times a week and it still is working great.

I really like these ... compact bright, fairly well made and cheap. They seem to be fairly water resistant. I keep a couple in each vehicle in case of tail light or trailer tail light failure. ... Better than a traffic ticket.
Cons:
I assumed they would be a little larger but at 60mm x 35mm they are big enough ... just. I guess as a bike tail light they are fine.
