it does the job. i have an old CRT TV and a DVD player, Nintendo Wii, and a VCR. now i can have all 3 hooked without changing the cables all the time.
Cons:
build quality - its quite bad. the plastic seems not to fit the holes directly not sure how to describe it - but when you press the 3 cables in, the whole metal body kinda "sink" inside. this device is not for constant IN and OUT with the cables.also, could be better if the splitter would be on the same direction of the back output. since all cables come from the back anyway..
Overall:
pretty poorly built - but if you just need it to sit on your tv without taking the cables in and out constantly - its quite cool. and worth the money :)

Does what it says and works wonders for me, I use it with my easycap (have multiple consoles) and saves me the mess of switching out the AV cables and it makes life a whole lot easier. Also comes with a pair of AV cables which is great.
Cons:
Build quality is not the best and for some reason mine came with a lot of dust or something on it. The switch is not the best of its kind but its not a huge problem

This is a great little gadget and really use-full if you maybe have an old TV with only one AV-In or Scart

Received a replacement for a defective one. Original had no right channels on two switch positions and mixed video on the other.This replacement has no video signal on postion #1, no audio on position #3. In fact position #3 uses the sudio of #2. All positions are without the right audio channel. It seems as though the switch might be mounted on the board wrong or something. Uside case is stick plastic but the rest is of a cheap build. The plugs are screeming under the pressure of connecting a device cable to it.
Overall:
Didn't even feel it was inexpensive enough to say "For that price, why not try it!?" Something else would be better.

Build quality is way, way, Way below average. The plastic exterior is thick enough, but it seams that the only thing attached to it is the switch. All of the RCA jacks are not attached to the case at all and are held in place by the soldering to the switch so there is a lot of movement in the jacks. If you're not really, really gentle, you'll snap every one off. The jacks don't line up with the case holes either which make being gentle when connecting devices even harder. Switch feels cheap. When on A/V signal 1, video signals 1 & 2 get mixed. Although the audio is great on signal 1, signals 2 & 3 have no right channel. Tried switching out the DE patch cable and nothing helped. Also the switch will not stay in the signal 1 postion, it has to be forced a little, and even then it will pop out of place and cut out the video.
Overall:
Didn't even feel it was inexpensive enough to say "For that price, why not try it!?" Something else would be better.

- This thing works. I have it at the core of my media setup so I can switch between having my tv through my speakers, to having ipod or laptop sound instead. I have no use for the Video so I cannot say whether that is any good. I have bought this with many of the audio cables on DE to use simple as an audio switch and it does that well.
Cons:
The thing feels VERY cheap. the plastic feels like crap lol. The switch itself is VERY hard to pull from the different inputs.You have to have the audio cables sitting at a "sweet" spot in the connectors or you will get annoying reverb sounds and thats probably just due to the cheapness making it very picky on picking up the audio.The packaging looks like something out of the 80's. Very bad spelling and (although it doesnt really need one) theres no instructions at all really.
Overall:
It works. If you can handle the un godly sight of the blue colour in your house and dont mind it being picky with its connctions, then just get one. It works out to be about £3GBP so it was a bargain for me. These things are probably about £10 in UK, but i bet you get better quality.
