Excellent cheap replacement battery for any iPod 4G. Comes with the installation materials included apart from a tiny screwdriver.- Cheap replacement- Battery fits well inside the iPod- Bring back your iPod back from the dead for a small amount of money
Cons:
The tools included are somewhat flimsy. I broke 1 of the tools prying open my iPod and is now unusable. Hopefully I will not need it any time soon. But for this kind of money you can't expect top-notch quality.- Flimsy tools included- Battery cable is ever so slightly longer than the original so you will have to bend it a bit more- No adhesive included (the original battery is glued on inside the case)
Overall:
You will not regretting buying this battery. Especially for this kind of money. It will bring back your beloved iPod from the dead. As I haven't owned this battery for long enough I can't tell you how many cycles this battery lasts. But for this kind of money it will be awesome if it lasts more than a hundred cycles.

The packet contains a manual that explain how to replace the battery in your iPod. It is easy to understand and the battery fit very nice in the iPod.
Cons:
The tools that comes with the battery is to weak, it bends and the thin part at the end wear off while you try to remove the cover.
Overall:
Good product that does what it promise. It brought my old iPod back to life.

I thought this was going to be more complicated than what it really was. I took the advice of previous comments and looked up a few YouTube videos. After that the process was easy and quick. Anyone should be able to change these batteries without having problems.I actually just ordered another one of these to have on hand as a spare.
Cons:
the tools were a bit flimsy but manageable -- a small precision flat screwdriver also helped immensely

Good kit including _almost_ everything you need (se cons). Not that hard to install it, but the procedure is not for everyone. (see other thoughts) The battery works well and it lasts _alot_ longer than the original did in the end. I'm not sure how it compares to the original in its brand new state since I don't really remember, but if there is a difference I think it's really small or maybe this new battery lasts slightly longer.
Cons:
The description says all tools are included. This is not so. You need a torx T6 driver too.
Overall:
Get this product if your iPod battery starts getting sluggish. Gives your iPod a longer life! Great! =)

I order the battery for the Ipod 4th generation to be installed on my son's Ipod. I did not know if it was going to work but for the price I took the chance.It worked perfectly, I fully recomend it. It fitted nicely and he has had no problems yet.A friend of mine just got his a couple days ago and he has had not problems at all.It is a good buy.

A little hard to install, well to open the Ipod, the tools included are not as good quality as the battery itself.

Sweet battery. Not as good as the original but awesome for the price. Fits perfectly and came slightly charged

Can be tricky to install. The included tools are a bit rubbish (mine broke). But theres lots of stuff on the net as to how to get into the ipod. You need a torx screw driver to get the mother board off which is not included. You can rash the nut and use a philips.
Overall:
Does the job intended and great value for the price of the thing! Quite a relief when the ipod turn on again for the first time as its a bit of a tricky job even for those technologically inclined

"the battery bar" in Adalade wanted $70au for a battery and $120au for the battery and installation .... the guy there was trying to tell me that if i do it my self i will destroy my ipod..... i didnt destroy my ipod i now have a working ipod and i dont have to buy a new one.

it DOES not come with all the tools needed you will need to have a size 6 (i think) torx screwdriver lucky i had some torx's i have no idea of the quality of the cell and i dont know have long it will last.
