Its a great bike light for the price. If you just ride your bike for fun, its more than enough.Has a good light rangeVery Easy to mount/dismount (when you lock your bike, you can take the bike light with you).
Cons:
Its all made of plastic, so it looks really fragile. when you are attaching it to the bike it looks like if you put a lot of strength its gonna break.
Overall:
Its worth it for the price. If you are not thinking about mountain biking with it (i think that might break thing where you attach the light) or training after dark, i recommend it!

It puts out as much light as bike lights in the $20 - $40 range. But almost inexpensive LED bike lights use either 3 or 4 aaa batteries which have half the capacity of the aa batties used in this light.I like the pattern that this light puts out.
Cons:
This light is really more suited for occassions when you get caught out after dark as are other inexpensive bike lights. For a regular commuter or someone who must train on the road after dark you are going to want a light with much greater capacity and output like the DealExcel SKU 29489.
Overall:
It puts out a decent amount of light, uses aa batteries which are cheap and have a reasonable capacity.

So bright and highly visable - good strong sturdy construction with hard plastic and mounts very tightly. Mounts fairly easily without trouble. Many inquiries in where i bought such a bright light for my bike which was cool.
Cons:
does not have much spread- does not illuminate area much
Overall:
I wouldnt really depend on these for aiding you through a dark trail but for safety purposes its a good investment. In terms of trail riding the best would still be halogens.

- 3 AA batteries, so inconvenient to recharge. Because charger charges 2 or 4 batteries.- I did not notice how unscrew and lost one bolt. Therefore, after purchasing to check and tighten all bolts.- Not for hard skating. Because a fall from a bicycle can be easily broken.

In the near? future when fossile fuels are either gone or to expensive to mine, electricity is very expensive, cars do not have fuel to run and bicycles are the best/only means of transportation. With no street lights if you go out at night you need a good light-if for no other reason than to avoid falling in one of the unrepaired potholes. This bike light is your answer. It works well, is dependable, has easily obtained batteries (recharge during the hour of electric power per day).
Cons:
Like almost all the bike lights sold by DE the straps are easily broken in my experience. Posssible Solution: but hose clamps; they can be tightened better and don't break. So they do not look fashionable. get over it, it's DARK who sees them?
Overall:
Why wait for some pessimistic future scenario, buy your bike light now.

You cannot see the lamp being on from the side. Safetywise the manufacturer could have placed 2 leds on the side or put like a see through plastic ring.Like other reviewers I doubt it is waterproof. The switch has a nice rubber cover. Maybe it is weather resistant which is a bit different then waterproof.
Overall:
A good light that will suite most people's needs.With some mods it might have been a better lamp.
