The downside is the indicator lights around the device are not visible when connected to the OBDll connector in a car. A second cable in the device towards the connector would have been ideal. I have used successfully it on the Toyota, Lexus, VW along with a Bimmer. I haven’t tried on the extender to reset a MIL fault because I have not had a have to do so yet.

Because the box doesn’t have MFG branding around the unit I suppose it is a compatable. I wan’t going to spend another 100 bucks and it may not still act as advertised.
