- Gives out sufficient light - Comes with the batteries included, haven't tested how long they last but since it uses LEDs, it should last long.- Doesn't feel or looks cheap, the rubbery material is nice. It wouldn't be a bad present.
Cons:
- It's a bit bulky so it's not very suitable for small paperbacks.
Overall:
It's great, now I can read in bed at night without bothering my wife and with much better lighting than with my nightstand lamp. You can use it on the go also as long as you avoid tiny books.

I bought this lamp for reading my e-book. But I have bad eyesight, so in the dark for me this is not enough light illuminates the text of the book. I still need additional lighting besides. I immediately ordered for the tube at this store spare batteries. Now I'm reading this lamp and conventional paper books.

I bought it for my e-book and it is worth it. The light is good and strong enough even if you want read in night or in dark. It is good for reading ordinary books too. I really like this product.

The light reflects a little from e-book screen. Maybe the battery type is quite unusual and i don't know how long will lasts battery, but i think reasonably long.
