Well... this is the deal: I cant understand a thing sang. I am not the spiritual of the family. I actually bought for my wife whom is a very focused yoga fan. Nevertheless I have found myself tripped by the rhythmic sounds.
Cons:
It would be nice if the jukebox is built a little bit sturdier. Its also not true that the batt was difficult of buy.
Overall:
Great and funny thingy. Works pretty well. I Cant understand a word, but it seems it doesnt matter.

I bought one of these for a friend on a trip to Taiwan, but I couldn't bring myself to hand it over when I got back to Europe! DE to the rescue.It's a fun little machine with recordings of various buddhists chants - which doesn't do much for me in a religious sense, but it's still nice to listen to. There's a volume wheel, a button to cycle through the various chants, and even a headphone port!
Cons:
The sound quality is just ok. It's still better than I expected, though. I can't really tell how long the battery will last, but I think it will take a while to wear it down in my case (since I won't be listening to the chants for hours on end). Your mileage may vary.
Overall:
A fun item to have around, and it could be of actual use to buddhists.

Small and compact music player. Great if you want to meditate on the train or in a hotel room or otherwise on a travel as it can be slipped into your purse or bag easy. The design is cute. It is easy to use. The sound quality is not exceptional, but it is not bad for such a small speaker.
Cons:
It is a bit hard to get the batteries into the unit, there is to little place for them, I had to ask for my boyfriend to help me get the batteries in. The sound quality is not exceptional, but what do you expect from those tiny speakers.
Overall:
This is a cute, unusual Spiritual tool gadget. It is because of stuff like this I use Deal Excel. Off course I could have put chants on my MP3 players and probably got better sound, however this item is just cute and with it's little Buddha figure on the front it just have allot of charm. I loved this item.

This unit is SMALL! It only measures 2"x 1 3/4"x 3/4" and can easily fit in your pocket or purse. The lanyard hole also allows you to attach a lanyard or nylon strap to wear around your neck or carry. The sound quality is a little fuzzy but has no distortion. The volume quality is also incredible. For such a small device, the volume can be very loud. This is perfect for Buddhist practitioners! A detachable lanyard strap is also included so you don't need to go buy one. This jukebox also has volume control and a headphone jack for private listening. In case you don't have batteries, it also uses an AC adaptor (not included).
Cons:
The springs in the battery compartment were a bit too big so the AAA batteries could not be installed at all. I had to use wire cutters and shorten the battery contacts so that the batteries could fit. Also, there's no digital display or LED indicator to let you know which song is playing. To play a specific song, you need to turn the unit off and then on again and it will start at the first song. You can then press the button to choose the song you like. The unit will only play one song and will not shuffle or cycle through each song. To hear a specific song, you need to press the button to skip through the other songs.
Overall:
For the price, this is a nice Buddhist jukebox. The audio quality is excellent and the size is perfect. It's small, easily portable and the sound is clear enough to understand. The device required a very minor modification (see "Cons") but now it works perfectly.

I use this to calm my nerves and keep me sane! I am glad to have browsed the products and ordered d this 12 song juke box instead of the 4 or 9 song juke box as this is really value for money!I have not tried with the earphone jack as the volume is pretty audible.
Cons:
Some of the songs are the of the same melody, just sang and arranged differently.I had a damn hard time getting the batteries in! Was starting to wonder if they were something wrong with size of my batteries.
Overall:
Interesting gift at a reasonable price. Not very useful for anything else though
