- I own 2 of these and they seem to be precise, both display the same temperature and humidity.- Memory of minimum and maximum values is very useful.- External sensor wire is quite long.- Easy to read from distance- Can be hung on wall or placed over your desk- More than 1 year later and it's still working with the original batteries.

This works great and most importantly that correctly identifies the temperature outside. I put a number of small thermometer with remote sensor also bought on DE, so here they are shown at 4-5 degrees warmer.Useful function can be called a switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit. Long cord with a remote sensor allows convenient to place the device in the house.

The thermometer is easy to use (do not forget to insert the battery AA :) ), good quality (smooth plastic that does not have fingerprints), sufficient for home use accuracy. The accuracy of temperature and humidity have checked and was satisfied. Large display, large numbers. You keep it stand up or hang on the wall. The device needs no manual. Place the thermometer inside the room, and an external sensor outside. The thermometer automatically collects information about minimum and maximum temperatures and humidity since the last reset.

The outdoor sensor is sealed good enough. Digits are big, I can see them from the other side of the room. Looks well built, which is not that much likely.
Cons:
I believe the humidity measurements are not correct. I have no proof of this, as I dont have calibrated detector here, but it seems that way. I't doesent seem to show relative humidity, but most likely the absolute one.
Overall:
Measures the temperature relatively accurate, so it does the main job. I'm a little dissapointed from the non reliable humidity measurements.

Put the batteries in and it is working.- There is a very handy movable part on the back that lets you keep it stand up.

- I didn't let the thing fall to the ground, but I believe it would certainly break - and very easily.- Could be a bit cheaper, given the simplicity of the device.

Cons:
Unfortunately, the temperature readings is not accurate. After long time of use, outdoor temp. reading is different from the internal temperature of about 1-3 degrees, although the sensor was located next to the device.Moisture readings are more unaccurate. Compared to calibrated device, there are difference of about 15 - 18%.
Overall:
If I will find how to calibrate moisture readings, I'll be happy about this device. :)

- Accurate enough (compared with other devices including an "old-school" glass lab thermometer).- Large readable display.- You can put it on the wall or it can stand on a shelf.
Cons:
- Cheap plastic, easily scratchable surface. A bit ugly look due to this and due to badly designed texts and logo.- Short sensor cable, you'll have to put it directly on the window to measure the temperature outdoors.- Battery compartment has no door.- The plastic stand which allows it to stand looks very weak, you can easily break it accidentally.

Unusual for me to give top rating. when I first got the device, I thought it was faulty. Sitting on the kitchen bench, the inside and outside temp differed 3 degrees. After a while, I hung the outside sensor over the top of the thermometer and suddenly it only differed 0.1 degrees. The bench was cold... Easy to operate. Did not need the manual, however, could not use it anyway, no English... ;')
Cons:
Did not get it for free ;) I can not think of any.
Overall:
I'll recommend it.
