Pros:
Very bright AAA light. Good focus and brilliant spot.... but it is not a "thower". Well constructed. I have it always on the glovebox of my car.

Cons:
I think it is a bit expensive for an one mode AAA light... Sometimes it flickers a bit, but then the light stabilizes itself. You can't use it for long distances.

Overall:
It is a perfect flashlight for your keychain, your car's glove box, or for every day's use into your portfolio for emergencies.

Pros:
Very Small, and plenty bright for most tasks. But the great thing about it is the large beam/spill. If it was focused, I think it would be 50 or more lumens. But it is very spread out, which is what I prefer. Actually lights up most of the room. Shoots a good bright large beam for 40 feet. After that begins to fade out rapidly.

Cons:
I've started to get a little of the flickering others have complained of. Somehow need to improve the contact areas. I've cleaned all contact areas and even started to add a beam of solder to thicken things up. So far that has helped.

Overall:
I use the heck out of this light. It is just perfect for looking behind your computer, under the desk, and I even stick it in my pajama pocket and use it for the middle of the night bathroom runs. It's small enough that I don't feel it. I use rechargables and change them every other day. If you want something much brighter than the tiny keychain lights, but small enough that you forget you even have it, then buy one.

Pros:
Very bright for it's size and battery. Reminds me of the old Maglite Solitaire. Unfortunately, not quite the same body build quality. Brighter than the UltraFire C3 Cree (SKU 1993).

Cons:
Could be cheaper. There was a small scratch on the body. I also got a weird green biner, not the red or blue one pictured.

Overall:
Nice little flashlight to have around. It's very light and you don't notice you're carrying it at all. Will be useful in emergency and non-emergency situations all the same.

Pros:
Pequeñisima, ilumina mucho, muchisimo igual o mas que la victorinox con led de 5.8 watts y dos pilas C, con similar corona y punto focal; es muy facil de transportar en el bolsillo o colgando, pilas baratas y disponibles en cualquier lugar.

Cons:
El o-ring es demasiado delgado y la cabeza queda floja con encendidos accidentales, se soluciona con una vueltas de cinta de teflón sobre la rosca, la cual es demasiado fina, veremos que dice el tiempo y el uso.

Overall:
gran luz a un buen precio, bastaria mejorarle la rosca y el o-ring. comprela y disfrute.

Pros:
Very bright for it's size. I'm throwing out those old 6v Lantern flashlights. I have two Fenix lights that are mine (no one else can appreciate them in the house). So I bought this to see how it would work for my wife and daughter. No joke, I'm buying another and am throwing out the big cheap flashlights that we keep around for blackouts. This little guy gives off way more usable light. I popped in a "pre-charged" rechargable AAA and am now good to go. Not sure how long it lasts on one charge, I don't want to test and take the chance of burning up the LED. I didn't have any of the problems others have spoke of with dry threads or loose threads or anything like that. It actually feels very solid and smooth operating. I read that things are hit and miss with this site, so looks like mine is a hit (hope the second is just as good). The center beam is bright but not too much so that you can't stand to look where it shines and the spill lights up almost the whole room in usable light.

Cons:
Hard to criticize a light at this price. If you're looking for a large throw, then this is not you're light. I don't need a lot of throw (I can't focus on more than 40 feet away anyway) so for me it's good. But definitely not a thrower.

Overall:
So far I'm very pleased and have already ordered another. I hope they turn out to be long lasting.

Please forgive lack of technical details, do not own a multimeter, lightbox, lux tester and wouldnt know what to do with any of them anyway have zero technical background (though i am trying to pick up by intensive reading here) and just use these lights.Between the KD Buckle light and the DE Buckle light i decided to go with the DE (for a variety of reasons) and I ordered the DE R2 Buckle light here and it arrived last night.First impressions: 1. it doesnt feel as solid as the Fenix E01, knurling is practically non-existent but that being said, it therefore won't scratch up stuff in your pockets (mobile phone screens, insides of purses etc). One handed operation is a little inconvenient but that's just a quibble, i might just put a strip of some grippy tape (maybe a quarter inch wde) around the head to assist in one handed operation.2. it is incredibly light, lighter than my E01 or so it feels and its in a nice black colour, though whatever finish it is supposed to be in escapes me.3. output is bright, much brighter than my E01 (which has been relegated to back up - back up light status) with none of the purplish tint of the E01 emitter, the tint here is more a very cool white light with a slight yellowish tint (very slight) with the usual Cree ring which is only evident on a white wall test at close range.3.1 In comparison with my Jet I Mk II (which is the only other LED light with me right now), the output is very slightly lower than the Jetbeam Jet I Mk II's medium mode and higher than it's low mode. 4. It's got a smooth reflector, so the beam wont be as nice as it would have been with a OP reflector but on the other hand, it's got more throw this way. It also has a lens, glass or plastic i cannot tell right now.5. Threads on the head arrived dry but i applied a little Break Free and it's smooth as buttered silk now. Comes with an o-ring on the head so should i repeat should rain resistant (what more can we expect for USD$14.99).6. The head: from totally disassembled to totally tightened : slightly more than 6 complete turns (tested by holding the head firmly in the left hand with the aurora logo facing me and turning the body, each revolution ends with the aurora logo facing me again).7. The light when in fully tightened mode takes less than a quarter turn to turn off but it can still be activated in momentary mode by pressing in the head with a finger, a 1/2 turn will lock out the light.8. The tail has a little protrusion (i woulda said 'nipple' but i didnt want to offend anyone, oops, i said it anyway) with a tiny split ring which the 'carabiner' was attached to, removed that immediately for other uses.9. No runtime tests have been done yet, will update if i do one.10. Will not running this with a 10440 as the site recommends not to (well, maybe i will when i wanta replace it).Conclusion:I like this light, living in a well lit country like Singapore, i doubt that i would really need the long runtime of the E01 so this will suit me fine. I'd like a teeny weeny light with big time brightness just to wow non flashaholics with their puny minimags and i don't need low modes (at least not now). For USD$14.99 shipped, it's a great deal. IMHO. I will try to put up some amateur pics and beamshots later.

Cons:
Finish could be better. Knurling on the head to make one handed operation easier would be nice

Nice finishing though it may not be HA-III it still feels very nice in your hand. The light itself looks really nice (will try to post some pictures of it in action).Dumped in an Energizer e2 and tentatively turned it one and WOW!! BRIGHT!!No idea about the runtimes, but what the heck, spare AAAs are light and easy to carry around, get a pack of AAAs and shove 'em in your bag, pocket whatever and shine on with no worries.

Cons:
Threads were a bit dry, but applied a layer of Break Free and it's smooth as silk now.Nothing to complain really, nothing.

Overall:
Get it! Get a few!

Pros:
Makes a great gift.Impressive brightness for a 1.2/1.5v powered light.O-ring sealed.Free carabiner.Can do momentary on via squeezing due to some play in the threads.

Cons:
A little expensive, but I suppose that can't be avoided given the R2 and driver necessary to run off AAA.Random carabiner color. I received some black, silver, green and red. Luckily silver and black did not clash with one woman's purse, which I understand would have been catastrophic.

Overall:
You really can't go wrong on this one if you want a tiny light with good output.

Pros:
This is a very bright flashlight for only one AAA. Actually I got it for my wife to replace her Fenix E01 but I think I might just keep this little guy.

Cons:
No complaints here the head is not loose like other reviews Ive read.Very good builddd.

Overall:
Will impress friends so buy more than one.Great ideal for stocking stuffers.
