- Doesn't work with the IPhone, which is the reason i bought it so now its useless.- Normal AA's will only ive you 15-25% charge while a set off good 3000mAh will give it a great charge, usualy close to full. (ALL based on an ipod touch 2nd gen)

Small and compact with retractable cable.Uses any type of AA battery.Stops charging when power is low, and keeps the battery at one point (so might charge from 40% to 80% and then stay on 80% until battery dies).Useful for when you aren't near a charger.
Cons:
You will need either quite a few pairs of lower capacity batteries or some very high capacity batteries to fully charge your iPod (well, the iPod touch 1st gen anyway).The plug is a little bit hard to unplug from the ipod when you are done (you have to squeeze the buttons hard and pull hard).
Overall:
Very affordable and useful little gadget, but you're going to need some good batteries to fully charge it.

- Very good to juice up your iPhone/iPod battery when it is running low;- Small and good to carry around;- Affordable price;- Better than rechargeable batteries, since you can buy AA batteries anywhere;- Tested and working perfectly with iPhone 1st gen and iPod 5.5G;
Cons:
- It looks cheap and poorly built;- Retractable cable must be correctly handled. Otherwise will easily break.- The connector fit is horrible, particularly when unplugging it from the iPod/iPhone.
Overall:
This is not an accessory to be used frequently, unless you travel a lot. However, it is a lifesaver when your iPod/iPhone battery drains out and there is no AC power source around.

- Works perfectly when your battery is close to death and you need to squeeze some more usage out of your phone.- The cable is really long which I cannot really think of any use for, but is useful nonetheless.- Got a good retractable system, easy to use.- Locks the connector to the iPhone until you squeeze the buttons, which means it will not get out easily. Useful if you're charging while traveling. (Also a possible con, see below.)
Cons:
- When I slid the lid off the top bit near the connector got unstuck and with the lid off it can open a bit, but when the lid is closed it is secured tightly. Not much of a problem and easily solvable but it's something to look out for.- It locks the connector to the iPhone until you squeeze the buttons. This may be very useful, but if you're used to the standard connector you might need to get used to it.- It doesn't work with standard Alkaline batteries, it requires high power rechargeable ones. The only ones I had and I got them to work with is with 2300mAH batteries. Got quite frustrated until I figured it out.
Overall:
Definitely get this if you have an iPhone (especially 3G) since it has terrible batterylife.

Excellent idea and really handy when you are in a bind and not near a USB cable, Car Charger, Or 110volt USB adapter. Great to just throw in yoru backpack for when you need it. Charges and keeps you going for an extra 1+hour at least!
Cons:
Maybe a bit cheap build as far as the battery door. It may/will pop off if you handle it very roughly or drop it. It has not broken on me and it does the job. If you are in doubt, you can always use a small piece of plastic clear tape to give a bit extra security from it popping off.
Overall:
Buy it! You will not regret it the first time you need it! Small and compact and retractable leash is the cat's meow!

- Works with my iPhone 2G.- Great for emergencies. I just put it in my backpack so whereever I go, my iPhone will always have power.- Having AA Batteries is much better than a built-in battery. This way I can carry around 4 or 6 batteries for multiple charges (say, in a train or a long car ride)

Honestly, I don't see any cons. It does what it's supposed to do and the build quality actually surprised me. I thought it would be a lot flimsier. It's actually quite sturdy.

-It is a very good price- You are unlikely to find it anywhere else (especially for this price!)- It does what it says- The box has clear concise instructions with diagrams.- It is compatible with the 4 gen ipod nano.
Cons:
-The wire itself may be well protected but I wouldn't play with it too much, because it seems to be quite fragile.-Be careful with the plug in piece, especially with the new 4 Gen ipod nanos. You need to squeeze the sides of the plug, whereas on the charger that comes with the 4 gen ipod you don't, so beware!
Overall:
For this price you can't go far wrong. I don't know if it's compatible with the other ipods, but it should be if it's compatible with the latest one out.
