Pros: It works surprisingly very well and does all the functions a DVD remote is meant to do. It also responds very quickly when you press the buttons unlike other remotes I've used.
Cons: The remote is really small, and I mean really small. A small child would have no problem with it at all, but if you have large hands and fingers pressing the buttons may be a bit difficult. Other than that most people probably wouldn't have any problems using it.

Pros: This works! it works with the 3 different DDR dance pads I've tried it with, NO LAG. Of course I'm using a 26" regular tv, but still.
Built in memory card reader is a great plus.
Cons: doesn't seem to like PS1 games, but since I only have 1 of those, it's not a big deal.
This will not recognize anything but the 8mb PS2 memory card, so if you're using the 16 or more mb, you may be out of luck.
Other Thoughts: If you're lucky enough to own a 20 or 60g PS3, but want to keep playing your PS2 games and NOT spend a fortune on an adapter, this is the one to get.
Bottomline: I'm ordering at least 2 more, 1 for me as a backup in case I step on it or something and 1 as a gift for xmas.

Cons: the description is wrong, its VERY VERY loud and moves very very little air. the vents in the front are only these two tiny slits, and the fan is just a rectangle of plastic on a tiny motor.
Bottomline: not worth it, just put your ps2 in a place with more fresh air if you have overheating problems, or just dont bother if you worry about overheating and have no actual problems.

Pros: Works great, so far have tried it on xbox, gamecube and ps2 and had no problems. still have to try the pc function, it came with a driver cd so guessing that it should not be that hard.
Cons: there is like a auto of feature on the controller and the only way I have found out to turn it back on is by switching off the controller (there is a switch on the controller itself) and turning it back on. now there might be a better way of doing things but i have not found it yet.
Also there is no memory card slot on the controller that is required for the xbox, so connecting ur memory card or head set is a no. does not matter to me since my xbox is soft modded and i do not go online anyways (have the 360 for that).
Other Thoughts: let the con not fool u. I think it is a great deal and the cons i do not mind. also for $30 i was getting a wireless controller for the xbox only, while for the same here i got it for 4 systems. that 3 less controllers i have to worry about. That alone should sell it's self.
Bottomline: Great item for the value if compared to the next item of the same value. Get it.

Pros: It's just like the original laser module. I bought three and all of them worked beautifully. Considering that most problems with the slim ps2 are laser related, this was a great buy. I fixed a friend's ps2, one I got cheap off ebay, and I kept one as a spare part.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Anyone who buys this, keep in mind that there is a static safety blob of solder thing that you have to remove before installing it. It's easy to spot as it's the only difference between your old original laser module.
Bottomline: If your ps2 slim is not reading discs well, try adjusting the POT for a quick fix, but buy one of these. Most likely it will solve your issues.

When we're watching video from flash drives (the pass-through connector on the fan allows for two drives) on our 70012, I leave it turned off, since there's little heat buildup. When we're playing a game and the DVD drive is running, though, we turn it on. This little thing doesn't push a lot of air, but I admit the machine is noticeably cooler after a few hours' gameplay than it is without it. The LED is quite a bit brighter than I'd like, especially in a darkened room, but one gets used to it.
Bottomline: For only a few bucks, how can you go wrong?
