This was a real remedy for me. I was looking for a laser to mount on my Makarov handgun. There are no rails and no way to mount a laser on it. I'm not counting the adapters which may cost you more then this pistol itself.But the mounts which came with this laser was just awesome. I finally was able to mount a laser. The mount holds trigger ram pretty tight. The laser itself is rather durable and holds the recoil of 9mm ammo. Laser is fine focused and is bright enough, a bit hard zeroing it, but I was able to handle it in about 30 minutes. It really holds the zero. And of cause the price is good.
Cons:
Not found any cons of mine laser nor the mount.
Overall:
This IS good laser with great mount. Much cheaper then local analogs. Once zeroed it holds the recoil of 9mm handgun. In my case it is Makarov.

The laser is pretty good. The pressure pad works very well and has a short cord. The mounts will probably fit anything. I used this for my revolver because not many companies make a trigger guard mount for a laser/light.
Cons:
none really. Wish they had a led light that would mount the same way.
Overall:
The box the product comes in is nice too. Has a foam insert to keep all parts separate. If you have a revolver this is a great thing for you. I would definitely recommend it.

As others have reported, there are no instructions packed with this unit. However, if you are installing this on a 1911 government-style pistol, it is pretty much intuitive if you have worked with machined products at all. Just take your time. First, take it apart and study how the two halves might fit within your trigger guard, then use the plates packed with the unit and install it, one plate on each side of your guard. Tighten the screws a little at a time each and watch how the unit "adjusts" as you do this. If all goes well, you should have it on and adjusted inside of 15 minutes. If you have a bore laser sighter, so much the better. You can then adjust the laser itself against the bore sighter's dot, getting it pretty close to on-target. The machining is first-class, the finish is good, and once installed, it is solid.
Cons:
The on-off clicky cap packed with the unit is useless. With the laser installed properly, you can't get to the clicky at all. The pigtail pressure switch works fine, but as others have said, you are on your own to route the cable and attach it to your pistol. Also, if you remove the tail cap, be prepared to muck about a bit to get the batteries back aligned internally to screw the tail cap back on.
Overall:
A pretty good unit overall. We'll have to see how it holds up "under fire". Others here have said it does that fine, and based on how solid it feels, they are probably right.

Great sharp red laser. Very strong, the laser can shoot across the street through my neighbours window... -_- lol joking. But it really does.. during the day even. Very accurate if you calibrate it correctly.
Cons:
Doesn't fit most guns with the sleeve trigger guards in them. I tried not using one of them and i totally ruined my trigger. I'm currently in the process of sanding down the 2 sleeves so it fits my trigger. If you have a gun with blowback then make sure the screws are on tight because the laser will be useless after the first shot lol.
Overall:
Don't use it for business meetings, especially if it's on the gun. =)

Great construction. Looks awesome when it's mounted. The laser Class rating isn't on the laser but it looks to be a Class III which is pretty strong. I don't have a range tester but it can fire across the street from my house to the neighbour's roof through my window in the daylight and still be visible... I have a heavy pistol so the weight of the laser more or less balances out with the full metal magazine.
Cons:
Configuration and setup is a little tricky with no instructions but if you have any mechanics in you at all you can do it. Also you need to find your own way to stick the pushbutton on to where you need it to stick.
Overall:
Great construction. Makes your gun feel heftier. Strong bright steady beam. Looks great! Installation is straight forward if you look at it but minor adjustments are needed to get the laser where you need it to go.

Cons:
It was a bit difficult to mount it on the Glock 17. I had to replace both main M3 bolts to longer bolts, in order to fit the clamp around the trigger guard.Rooting the cable for pressure pad was also an issue, but it came alright at the end.
Overall:

This is a nice bright laser and the dot is visible up to 25+ Meter.The laser fits on my 1911 government pistol and it look very cool under my gun.The laser proved it self after a few days on the range.After firing more then 200 .45ACP rounds the dot was still on target.
Cons:
No instruction manual.It takes time and patience to put the mount on the trigger-guard.
Overall:
If you own a gun that doesn't have a rail-system on itthen it is a great laser to buy. I haven't found a cheaper solution for a 1911 yet.
