Its definitely a cool keychain. It actually glows pretty bright, very easy to see it in the dark. Its no glow stick, but even in moderate light you can still see it glow.
Cons:
Could be a lot cheaper. The plug in the bottom is a bit ugly, but only if you really look closely.

Cool gadget to have, people look worried when you tell them its a radioactive isotope, but thats part of the fun.

-the "cool factor"-it glows continuously unlike fluorescence-the quality seems really good-it is quite bright. Visible even when not in total darkness. It's bright enough to read with it, slowly, when you keep it right above the text. However this is very hard to do, and should be done only in emergencies.

-the "plug" that holds the tritium vial inside is not glued perfectly but it doesn't look like it will fall out-the price is a bit too high, compared to other DE products

It does glow! I didn't expect it to glow like a LED, it would't make sense.This is radioactivity, not electricity, not chemical reaction.
Cons:
The screw on the wire does loosen up a little bit over time. Small drop of weak glue will help to solve this small problem.Container could be as special as tritium, not just a transparent plastic. It took 32 days to get it (includes shipping 10 days).
Overall:
One of the best gifts for chemistry/physics teacher.It must be expensive, otherwise it wouldn't be so special after all

The 20mm vial of tritium is quite bright, and it is possible to read slowly off the green glow in total darkness. Feels quite solid and more than able to withstand daily abuse. And of course, it will last a very long time
Cons:
PRICE! Ordering these is a true gamble since they will pretty much always be waiting for these. Mine took a month from ordering to receiving. Others have fared worse. Strangely, although the page said they were due in on the 30th, mine shipped on the 14th.

The brightest color available and estimated to last 10+ years. From the ones I bought here, brightest to dimmest goes Green, blue, yellow, purple, white. Very unique item to own.
Cons:
The green is close to a glow-in-the-dark green color so some may mistake it for just that. I don't care much for the wire keyring it comes with as it loosens over time (wouldn't want to lose a $40.00 key chain). I replaced mine with a regular hard metal keyring.
Overall:
These always go on backorder so its only a matter of time before they are sold out for good. Get yours today.
