Brief Introduction:

DT-1309 Digital Illuminance Meter
The digital illuminance meter is a precision instrument used to measure illuminance (Lux, footcandle) in the field. It is meet CIE photopic spectral response. It is fully cosine corrected for the angular incidence of light. The illuminance meter is compact, tough and easy to handle owing to its construction. The light sensitive component used in the meter is a very stable, long-life silicon photo diode and spectral response filter.

    Pros:
    What to say - if you have ever been in the illumination industry (or close to it) you\'d admire this lightmeter. Looks and works like those $100+ ones I\'ve used. Helpfull to find out how your rooms are illuminated and take measures for making comfortable home environment (i.e. to find exact places for mounting some spotlights).
    Cons:
    I haven\'t yet encountered anything to worry about. Maybe that the cap is not attached to the probe despite both have holes but it\'s fixable.
    Overall:
    Buy it if you intend to do some light measures like comparing your torches output etc
