This motion activated light has a really nice soft, yet bright enough light to enable you to see for quite a distance. Easy to put together even with the Chinese instructions I had no problems. Has a wall mounting bracket thingy at the backGreat for toilet/hallway areas. I use mine too in the bottom on the walk in warddrobe where there is very little light. I stuck it on the wall with Blu Tac and just move, and Pop, on it comes.
Cons:
It threw me a bit when I saw on the pack that it required 4 LR6 Batteries as I had never heard of this tyoe if battert, But I soon worked out that the AA batteries fit and worked perfectly. The on/off Continuous/ etc. modes are all in Chinese. However, a few moments of experimenting soon solved that problem. The light only stays on for about 15 seconds, and then starts to dim. A quick wave will flick it on again, but it would be better if it stayed on for about 30 seconds or more.
Overall:
Very useful - I purchased 3 of them, and have used each one in different places very successfully.

This is such a useful gadget. I use crutches and when I am on the run to the loo at night, the last thing I want to do is stop and fumble for the light switch. This is brilliant - it picks up my motion and lights the path. I'm back to buy more & will also try out the white LED mode..
Cons:
Not all that keen on the blue light, but it is probably less harsh on sleepy eyes than the white model.
Overall:
This is a great little buy. It is useful for everyone, but especially people with disabilities. Don't hesitate.

The detection range is around 5-6 meters. It has a reasonable horizontal view and a very small vertical view, I would guess 10-20 degrees. The plastics are very well molded and show no rough edges. Good plastics often mean the item is of high quality. The light sensor works very well so the light will only come on late after noon or in a darkened room. Cheap! Something like this item would sell for at least 20$ here in Australia.
Cons:
Wider vertical viewing would have been nice.
Overall:
Buy one. There is no doubt in my mind that anyone can find a use for this. I reckon it would also make a sweet gift!

I love this, because I bought it nearly 2 years ago. I haven't replaced the batteries yet, and we use it every day - or NIGHT rather. It's in our hall, outside our bedrooms, so if we have to go to the bathroom in the night there's no disturbing light going on. It's got a motion sensor that works with light sensing too. It only goes on at night if that's your setting. Hooray!Great range of motion sensing too!
Cons:
Nothing i can think of. You may say "well, it could be cheaper" and i suppose it could maybe but it's entirely reliable, and it's lasted us 2 years, so that's decent.
Overall:
I would buy more happily if i had use. I might even buy some for my relatives because I think they'd make useful gifts.

Does what it needs to do... I've installed it in my toilet room so i will not have to turn on the light at night and it works just fine. The blue led gives a nice ambient light. The motion sensor works just fine for my needs.

It is really good to use at night because it has a low blue light and if you wake up and go in the corridor you did not wake up realy because the low light.
Cons:
The bottom under the device is very very small. You just use it with your fingernail. It has just two chance, always light or onto moving in darkness light. You can not use it for just movement or just if dark at night just the both at the same time.
Overall:
The price can be lower but it is usable at home.
