Has a variety of different battery configurations: 1x18650, 2x16340, 2x123A, 3xAAA (1.2V/1.5V/3.7V).Good brightness, excellent throw, nice and even flood. I like it.Driver is much more efficient than that of X2000.Has 1 Mode, so no fiddling around trying to find max brightness.
Cons:
When I slide the bezel there is a very annoying scratchy sound. I removed one of the two inner metal O-rings, which makes it less annoying. I will replace them with rubber O-rings soon.Pretty expensive compared to the X2000.Has 1 Mode, which will drain battery faster than a mid or low mode.
Overall:
If you want a one mode light with a high(er) run time get this, otherwise get the X2000, simply because it is cheaper.

Quite well built, with a chunky solid feel.. Reasonably bright. This torch is much larger than I expected. I suppose it has to be in order to use 3 different kinds of batteries. The zooming action is simple enough, just slide back and forth to go from flood to throw. I ordered it mainly for its ability to use different battery types.
Cons:
Price, I guess. For the price ($17+) I expected it to be brighter than my C30, which it isn't really. The C30 has a slightly wider throw as well, although this torch produces a more even spread of light.
Overall:
Ok. Buy it if you need the versatility of using 3 different kinds of batteries. I'm gonna order an X2000 soon and see how that compares. I hear it's quite good.

Great quality, very sturdy feeling, thick and chunky!Bright with 18650s, haven't tried with AAAs yet, but nice to know they are an option.Zoom feature is handy for use in different environments with both full flood and full throw being completely usable.Threads were all oiled, and o-rings.
Cons:
The only thing I'll say is that the zoom action itself feels a little bit cheap. If it was going to really break somewhere, I would assume that would be the place.If that ever does happen, I can glue it down in full flood or add some kind of spacers under the bezel to keep it in full throw, and I'd still be happy with it. Honestly though, I am not worried about that too much since I'm keeping this in my nightstand for emergencies.
Overall:
A great zooming cree light for the money. Perfect for my intended use. I'd buy another in a heartbeat.

Solid metal case, Simple on-off switch with no wistles or bells. Comes with adapters for different kinds of batteries.Big circle with uniform light. Focusable lens with just an slide to concentrate light. I've focused the square led shape at night on buildings about 100 meter far.There are brighter lamps, but this one does not get too hot, and so far batteries are lasting a lot.
Cons:
Build quality looks really good. Only Lens is plastic. Not a problem because it does not get hot but will possibly scratch if you carry it on your pocket or with other objects. A glass cover or maybe a protective plastic cap might be a good idea.Also the lens shows a little chromatic shifting on the edges. Not that this is a problem.
Overall:
This one had become a fix item on my car. Makes a comfortable light for night checks / repairs, map reading. Better than the portable light that came with it.
