Air Mail

Its an excellent pointer, aims in simplicity. It has a red laser with a button and two buttons to forward/rewind slides. For my needs, its excellent. Its recognized as a keyboard, so it works flawlessly in MACOSX, Windows and Linux (ubuntu as far as I have tested). The batteries 2xAAA last long and the range is amazing (more than 25 meters from the computer)
Cons:
The build quality seems a little cheap but I've been using it for a while and it still works well.
Overall:
This product is amazing and works very well, with a long range, differently from these IR based pointers.

- the presenter is simple, and its easy to use.- it does the job.- no need to install. if its plugged in and you can start using the presenter- it installs itself as human interface device and sends page up and page down signals to the computer.- laser pointer is also included.- besides presentations, you can use it to scroll up and down where page up and page down is applicable: text, spreadsheets, webpages etc.
Cons:
- connection lost, this happened only once but surprise during presentation is not welcome!

- The buttons are very noisy- The plastic case is fragile- The order of buttons: Laser - Previous - Next, from up to the bottom. It is impossible keep the laser button pressed and click next, with just one hand. You must stop pointing to get the next slide- The USB transmitter is too big! Can be a problem in some laptops when you need use close USB ports with a pendrive too

I recomend bought rechargeable AAA batteries (Soshine, for example) to don't expend too much money

Very good build quality, plug and use, no need for drivers. Very good laser point power. Very nice carrying case, good quality.Having two AAA batteries is a pro for me too, in Argentina it's more difficult to get those tiny weird batteries.
Cons:
Maybe for the price, it could have more buttons for more commands. It's not so cheap, at least for the Argentina's currency.

Being RF, you can point it at any direction and still change slides.Works out of the box even in Linux Ubuntu 10.04 without any drivers or software!The laser works fine.Came with batteries and a leather (?) case. That was a surprise for me.

I did not see any problems with this product, and I guess I shall not have any.

This is perfect for people who present anything, in offices, academic work... This can easily cost $45 or more where I live. This is a good bargain.

Easy to use, easy and quick to install. It does not need any drivers.Laser is very strong and the distance is amazing. It works even without a clear path between the receptor and the controller.Build quality is only passable. The bag is ok too.

- I need to give many presentations and have to operate a laser pointer and a wireless mouse to remotely change the slides is really annoying. This simple device that works outside of the box solves this problem and it is very cheap compared to some branded devices. - It also uses regular AAA batteries whereas some branded similar devices uses special ones. - The red laser is sufficiently bright to be easily observed.
Cons:
The USB device that goes in the laptop is a bit bulky, but I think that it is not a deal breaker.
Overall:
Works very well with cheap AAA batteries, does not need drivers, works on Macs, Windows and Linux machines, the laser is sufficiently bright and has a nice price.
