Once you've figured out how to set up and use it, its a usefull stuff.Price is good, at least, compare to IP Cams sale in Mexico.Do the job. Looks nice. Its a real pan / Tilt camera!. IP CAM sofware available in Android and OS platforms.
Cons:
Complex to set up if you haven't any knowledge about networks configuration, but in Internet you'll find many information about it. Just for indoors. Night vision not at all. Internet Explorer (windows) dedicate equipment.
Overall:
Great for survillance (indoors); to take an eye over the babysitter while she is taking care of your baby at home.

With the latest Foscom firmware the pan/tilt speed of the ipcam is perfect, without the new firmware the pan/tilt speed is very slow. Video quality is good in daytime. Motion detection works good, also the e-mail function.
Cons:
- The plastic looks cheap. - Night vision don't work.- Since i received the camera it crashed one time, so i had to reset the ipcam. Normally the 50hz mode is good and the cam will autofocus. At one day the 50hz mode was far to bright and it was only viewable in the outdoor mode.
Overall:
Only buy this ipcam if you want to use it by daylight only.

Video quality is good, colors are OK, walleye distortion isn't too bad.Network range is good.Latest Foxcom firmware makes it usable.
Cons:
audio is a nightmare of static, input and output. I can tell that it works, I hear things through the output jack and I can hear things from the internal mic, but it's so noisy, it's useless unless you are a 20 taxi driver veteran.Night vision is appalling, you get maybe a foot of visibility.Stock firmware is useless, can't even get a signal.
Overall:
You can do better, I'd put these cameras in the $40 range.

Very good for price and cant really complaint about it.People cant belive it for the price and how usefull it is in my bussines as I can Rec, listend to what going on in my shop and best of all... its wireless so no mess when installing it.Plus you can view from remote internet conection just by using a free Dyndns server.

When Its use with audio ON, the motors inside make noise as you tilt it to have a look aorund, other than that its excellent for price.

It comes in a good packaging, with an understandable manual.The price is good.Looks good.It is easy to install - knowledge of modem/router configuration required for remote access, but you can find it easily on the internet.The software provided identifies quickly the camera.Easy to access camera's image with Internet Explorer.

Image could be better, but it is not bad.Microphone works, but it could be better.It could come with a software to remotely view the camera's image on the internet - but you can find it for free, including for Galaxy Tab, IPAD and others.

i checked out something similar in singapore and it cost SGD 150. thats really expensive cos all i need is to monitor my kids at home from time to time (not that we dont trust them :)wired installation is pretty easy to do, however, the wireless took me 3 days to complete! i even call linksys support to help me hook it up or at least they helped me to reset my router properly after i screwed up the settings. daylight picture quality is fantastic. just nice for beginners. i can even view it on my iphone!

Like i said earlier, it took me 3 days to get it to do wireless! painful experience but i learned a lot about routers, setting up ipcam and of course to be cool.i cannot control anything from my iphone such as pan and tilt. i can only view. after my first attempt to upgrade firmware and the other thing, this fella CEASHED! i remained cool and redo everything again and it worked. To my surprise, after upgrading, the ipcam movement is extremely responsive!

This is a very good copy of a famous brand of camera. It has good image quality and a very clear interface. My model came with an older firmware that didn't support firefox, but this is easily upgraded and now works brilliantly.
Cons:
The IR LEDs are not very bright, making the night vision pretty ineffective. You could probably solder in some higher power ones if you have the tools though.
Overall:
A great little camera, with a lot of hidden potential!

received and after quick browse over the manual got it working, it came with System Firmware 11.14.1.34 andweb ui version 2.4.8.9, worked great but i felt it was a bit slow so i downloaded the latest firmware from foscam (FI8908 FI8908W sw upgrade package - system 11_14_2_28 and web ui 2.4.8.15) and updated, a brand new camera was born, moves lighting fast, and better image..
Cons:
not so far, but is wise to read up before try to fiddle with it, i´m still working on access from the internet, works great on intranet
Overall:
Liked so much that I had to write up a review, but really need to stress that if you doesn´t like/know or have the patience to research, maybe u shouldn´t try to install yourself
