Good value for money, good throw for hunting, easy to improve(needs waterproofing, lubricant on all threads and contacts). Contact on Pill to body needs improvement with a spring to ensure contact is not broken when jolted from shot fired.
Cons:
Overall, QC inconsistent. Plastic Reflector is poor, full of blemishes and sputtered aluminium faded on one of my reflectors.( I have 2 such flashlights.)

A good long range thrower, I have had no problems with mine, and would recommend it to anyone that needs the range this offers.I use the two 18650 batteries in mine, and have found that is a good setup. Really the only thing I don't like about it is the lack of a forward clicky, and it would even be somewhat debatable if that is really needed in a flashlight like this that is more of a specialty one.

Very impressive throw for an LED flashlight. None of my friends had ever seen such a tightly focused beam from an LED. Illuminates well out to 75m and beyond. I have not had a chance to get out into unlit country to see how it performs without streetlights around.
Cons:
In an urban or suburban environment this is of little practical use. The beam at 10m to 25m is still too focused with not enough spill. The center beam is surrounded by a darking ring followed by a brighter, wider ring.
Overall:
A fantastic special purpose torch. Not an only flashlight by any means but great at it's designed for.

- This monster can really throw and it's super bright too (easily throws @ 200m)- Build quality is good, with nice finishings although the paint on mine at the top (where the flashlight gets in contact to the table when it's standing on its head) chipped off.- I have tested the run-time on this using SKU 5776 and I can confirm that it ran continuously for 5 hours and 10 mins.- Difference in light output is very minimal (not noticable) as the battery depletes.- by far one of the best throwers sold on DE

- Uses P4 emitter instead of Q5.- body is not HA-III anodized.- a little on the bulky side (although this is really a pro for me as I prefer big flash lights to small ones)- only a single mode, hence you can't run this on low to conserve power- Perhaps not really practical for indoor use as this is designed to be a thrower, not flooder.- A little bit expensive
Overall:
This is one really bright thrower. If you have a use for it outdoors, this is a must have! Although it is a little bit on the expensive side, I think it is still worth every penny.I would suggest though that you get the Aurora WF-800 Q5 single mode. They're identical in every aspect, except the Aurora uses a Q5 emitter.

This is plain and simple a LED 6D Mg-like thrower, but smaller and a much nicer beam. The light is quite large and heavy and has an incredible throw of 200 yards easy. Takes 2/18650s, but I haven't tested the runtime yet.
Cons:
The price is a little high and it is big (may be a pro for using as a weapon).
Overall:
Buy it to impress your friends and scare your neighbors. The throw is unbeatable. I wouldn't be surprised if it has more throw than any other light on DE.

Great light, very powerful.Got these along with 2 18650's 2400mAh and I can say it goes a for quite a long time.What I really like about this light is that I get the same brightness (well that how it seems to be) all through, regardless of my battery level. When it goes flat, the brightness doesnt decrease much well, I couldnt tell a difference tbh, the light just switches off when the battery dies so I can get the full use out of the torch without it going low power which really sucks.
Cons:
none really, just feels a little heavy on the bulb end.A tad bit expensive

Bright.... Super tight beam very white in colour.I have a few Cree lights and although I was expecting this to throw further than the others due to the tight beam I was pleasantly surprised and the light performed better than I hoped or expected.I shone the light at a tree top in an urban environment with some ambient light and I think the description of “visible light at 100 meters” is under selling this light, not only is there visible light but a clearly defined very bright spot of light, I am guessing this was at a range of 130 meter maybe more but defiantly more than 100 meters.As for usability and ergonomics I actually like this light. Very intuitive simply press the tail switch for momentary light and screw for constant pretty straight forward. The construction is solid and the threads are very smooth and the gaskets were well lubricated.Lens is glass not plastic which is nice as it will be more resistant to scratches.
Cons:
Arrived with a couple of small nicks round the bezel, the reflector is not as polished as it could be, although I’ve seen worse.The beam is not super smooth immediately round the hotspot or centre but then it’s a polished reflector designed for throw (as opposed to a smooth wall of light), it’s not too bad and only noticeable on a white wall, it also depends on what you compare it to (for example it’s WAY smoother than a standard Maglite.)I guess to be picky there is slight battery rattle using the 2 x 18500 batteries but I’m not going to loose sleep over it.
Overall:
Over all the light is (especially considering the price point) a great deal.It feels more like an incandescent rather than an LED and THROWS an intense beam.There is also a respectable usable side spill which makes the light usable for most tasks. Basically if you want an affordable LED which can throw, cheap to buy and cheap to run then I don’t think you’d be disappointed.
