Great Light, April 24, 2010 Post by hals1

Price:
Pros:
This is a thrower! About as bright as my 3C Maglite. Handy size, especially with CR2. I have it on my bull barrel 10-22 for rabbits in the garden. Adequate shooting light to over 50 yards and doesn't affect handling or balance. Takes 2 AAs. That was the deciding factor in getting it as CR2s, CR123s, etc. are hard to find. This light will let you see in the dark places under the hood of your vehicle in broad daylight.
Cons:
Uses CR2 instead of CR123. Short battery life and my source just stopped carrying them. Also they are expensive and not generally available, but you can use 2 AAs. I have rechargeable CR2s on order from DE to solve that problem.
Overall:
If you get this light you won't be disappointed unless you are looking for flooder. If you need it small and use it very often, order rechargeable CR2s and a charger, but it works fine with AAs.
Great flashlight, solid build, December 11, 2008 Post by WF-606A 3W Cree Flashlight (2xAA/1xCR2)
Quality:

Price:
Pros:
Pretty fast shipping. It came airmail all the way from Hong Kong. Way cool! This thing is really built well. Solid steel with an excellent paint job. Throws a great beam too. Real quality with this flashlight. I think it will turn out to be one of my more often used flashlights.
Cons:
My only gripe is the rubber clickety switch. It's very loose. It bounces around under my thumb which leads me to believe that debris, water, dust, etc. will get under it and eventually damage the flashlight. I guess since it came all the way from China, it's going to be difficult to get that component fixed.
Overall:
An excellent buy!
Good flashlight!, October 27, 2008 Post by mkirk760

Pros:
A lot brighter than I though it would be!Good sizeGreat quality for it's price
Cons:
Never got an orange button replacement.Came in real cheap packaging.Took a long timeThe main white circle of focus for the light is pretty small compared to the dimmer wide circle surrounding it... in other words if you were looking for something in the dark that was mixed with a lot of other things, then you would most likely need to hit it with the small main white circle or else you won't find it because the outer rim of light is to dim to make anything out!
Overall:
Great for the price!

Pros:
this is bright and white. it uses AA batteries, so it is cheap. you can use ni mh batteries on this. it lasts pretty long.
Cons:
20$. not as cheap as I want it to be. but still worth the price.
Overall:
This will be best used during camping or during blackouts. well worth the money. i would buy again.
Buy it!, September 7, 2008 Post by Silverkarn

Pros:
Bright white, almost blue, light.Uses AA batteries, which is what i was looking for.Long, thin reflector produces a nice tight beam.
Cons:
Cant stand the flashlight up since the button extends beyond the base of the flashlight.
Overall:
Great flashlight for camping, or just to have around in case you need a flashlight.I carry this flashlight everywhere i go, someone pulls out a regular flashlight that uses 4 D batteries, and i pull out this one and they are impressed that this is usually brighter.
Nice flashlight!, August 20, 2008 Post by jonsson84

Pros:
It is very bright, atleast compared to my other lights. It uses common AA batteries that you can buy everywhere. The cooling seems good - the whole flashlight get hot quite fast.It feels very solid in your hand and it looks more expensive then it is.It comes with a lanyard.
Cons:
The clicky was loose and didn't work properly when I recieved the flashlight. I had to screw it back into the tailcap to get the light to work as it should. The clicky feels a little fragile. It gets quite hot after a while. It has only one mode.
Overall:
I would definitly buy this light again if I need another one.
great flashlight!, August 18, 2008 Post by tmlwyb
Quality:
Shipping:
Price:
Pros:
- well built. feels solid and has good anodizing. I like to hold it in hand.- very useful brightness: hotspot provides light for distances from 10 to 40 meters (and even more in complete darkness) and spill is for close range work. all you need for a home or auto flashlight in my opinion- one mode only. I think it's a pro especially if you plan to present it for a non-flashaholic- has glass lens and metal reflector (orange peel type)- it's easily unscrewable to parts- has o-rings on the threads
Cons:
- threads were dry- button had some problems with switching on at first but after I changed the tailcap to orange everything is fine
Overall:
bought this flashlight as a gift but thinking about purchasing one for myself

Pros:
Good-looking flashlight with nice anodizing and finish. I like to hold it in hand, feels solid and well built.Bright enough for most purposes - the hotspot provides light for distances from 10 to 40 meters (and even more in full darkness), the spill is useful for close range work.
Cons:
The diameter of a tube is too big for AA cell - you can hear cells shaking inside. There were some problems with button at first.
Overall:
Bought this flashlight for a present and now thinking about bying one for myself
Very nice light. Not overly bright, but very usef, August 7, 2008 Post by EdFromOhio
Quality:

Price:
Pros:
I had received a Fenix L2D Premium last week (180 lumens) and that was my basis of comparison. This doesn't put out quite as much light, but it is bright. It is just a hair brighter than the Romisen RC-G2 which is impressive because that's only a single AA.This is shaped a lot like a MiniMag light and the tailcap is the same outer diameter as the body. The crown is somewhat large - way more so than the Fenix, and just slightly larger than the Romisen.Being able to switch to a TINY light running on a CR2 battery is awesome. It is a bit brighter with the CR2, but I'm sure the runtimes aren't going to be as long as two AA. Having the ability to easily switch between both is great.
Cons:
Didn't come with a holster. It looks like the SKU 5264 would work with it, since this is a hair over 6 inches long with the AA tube.
Overall:
It's an excellent pocket light. For the price, it's very hard to beat.

Pros:
Uses 2xAA, mature design, Cree emitter, useful 120 lumen brightness, free lanyard, Beats mini Mag 3W LED in every aspect.
Cons:
No mode control, no lube on threaded area or o-rings. Switch not only sensitive but also funky(used WD-40 to relief the contact problem). AA cells rattle in tube(inserted calendar paper to fix). All edges need to be rounded though they are not sharp. Not available at Wal-Mart.
Overall:
The mini Mag 3W LED is my first LED flashlight. Now I have Fenix P2D-CE, SolarForce L2 Q5, Romisen K4 and this WF-606A. I played around and figured 120 lumen is more than enough to luminate the house/front/back yards. These lights brighten 100 yards easily(except mini Mag, sorry). I am buying some more 1xAA 8-leds' for low light/long runtime then my collection will be all lined up(I rarely go outdoors otherwise HID will be in my list).I will suggest DE to contact Sears and carry it in every local store then sell it @25 side-by-side with mini Mag. The WF-606A rocks and it should go to every family.
