-Screws on to a tripod nicely-Can be used to hold a flashlight, laser or anything else you can think of that is thinner then 3.6 centimetres- Useful. I use it for holding my lasers but I put some bubble wrap inside it using double sided tape to stick it on so I dont scratch andthing

-Although plastic is tough, it feels a lilttle cheap but more importantly the edges are a kinda sharp.-It may be a little expensive having in mine that it is just a clamp and that it costs more then sku. 1309.

- Works perfect for holding a laser on - May work for camera and other functions too, as a 'third hand'. - Hold your laser and burn better (does not shake) - I think it can hold more than 0.5kg, as we other friend said. If the weight is centralized and the tripod is good, can hold excess of 1kg.
Cons:
- The claws are sharp, they can hurt if you try to hold your hand (lol) or damage some objects (like a fragile laser). Cmon DE, apply some foam there. - Do not have a strength adjustment: too much strong when opened! will work like a rat-trap if closes on your hand.

I use this EVERYDAY! I have one of those little tripods, onto which this clamp mounts easily. - The screw size is universal (just like those in cameras). - The spring tension is very good and objects are held firmly - Other users have complained about build quality, but mine has sustained some abuse and has not broken yet! - Once the azimuth screw is tight, it can hold objects in excess of 500g.
Cons:
- It's only ajustable in one axis (azimuth, through the screw seen in the pictures). Directional adjust is done twisting the piece itself, which causes the screw to get a bit loose.- It doesn't hold objects whose diameters are less than 1cm.
Overall:
For $2.71, it can be beat. It was one of the purchases that I am very glad I did and one of the most useful items I got from DE. I highly recommend this product.

my clamp came broken and i was really pissed off luckily i could fix with loctite. build quality is very poor and would stop me buying again. packaging could also be better as this is a very fragile item. I hope no one elses will be broken asswell

I use this clamp to hold small objects. In particular, to lighten the shadows with little white cards. Secondly I use to support the photographic bottom. Considering the price I'm satisfied. It does its job right. You can mount it on any camera tripod for a solid base. It is very small and lightweight so you can take it with you. It is very useful combined with a small tripod.
Cons:
Only useful for robust and light objects. In fact, care must be taken with delicate objects, as they might be cut from the clamp.
Overall:
Ultimately I recommend this product to anyone interested to uphold lightweight objects. Such as backgrounds.

It is useful for holding small objects, such as microphones. It weighs little.
Cons:
In the picture looks bigger than it is. I never put anything of value, the gripper is small and if it is a bulky or heavy object can fall easily. It's plastic, which is normal, but it is a plastic that looks very good. The nut will come off easily.
Overall:
As a complement to tripods and small objects is good. If your purpose is another do not think it will be useful.
