-DOES NOT allow syncing on my pc. itunes cannot recognize the device. -doesn't have the pair of buttons on the side of iphone-side the connector that allow you to loose the cable when removing it. still, it appears to attach and detach seamlessly. i'm concerned that since it attaches and detaches with friction that, over time, it will break.
Overall:

Cons:
The iPhone connector doesnt fit very well on my 3GS. When inserting it I have to give it a small push and sometimes it makes a cranky sound and I sometimes wonder if it would break my dockport. However I am using the cable as extra at the office.
Overall:
Get two and perhaps you are lucky enough to get one which will suit your dockport perfectly without having to push the connector into the phone.

Excellent price, you would pay 20 times as much as a genuine one from Apple. Good to keep as a spare or a replacement. Cable is a good length. Works well with my iPhone and iPod touch. Where the cable enters the connector is plastic which is better then the rubber on the original Apple cable as it won't break apart.
Cons:
The iPhone end of the cable is looser than the original iPhone cable although could be a good thing if as it wont strain the connector if pulled. Build quality could be better, feels a bit plasticy.
Overall:
Nice to have another on as a spare even if you don't need it now, Apple cables break rather easily.

The price is very good for this item and I couldn't find it cheaper on the market. The built quality is very good although it doesn't have an authentic feel to it. Does what it says it does, it charges well and is good for syncing to your computer!
Cons:
There are bits of ugly plastic jutting out of certain parts of the product but they are no problem as long as you don't mind too much about how it looks
