It small and fits easily in your pocket or backpack while camping. It is somewhat easy to make sparks with it, it's more difficult to acutally make the fire (takes some practice).
Cons:
It doesn't explain anywhere how it should be used. Figured it out really fast on my own.The first few times you go along the sparkle with the blade cutter it doesn't do anything, you have to get some 'stuff' off before it works.
Overall:
It's okay and does what it is supposed to do.

My sparkle shaft came loose withing a day testing the product - won't trust hanging this from my backpack.The amount of shavings is very tedious to get off this small item - but its doable yet slow.You really need the magnesium block to make this practical since even a large number of shavings burns and sparks very quickly - I think you really need very fine and dry, flammable tinder to get a fire to light.

Good product at price, but more a novelty or last resort fire lighter item.

This unit is great, the price is extremely low compared to anything where I live, it will last a very long time. Great for camping in the mountains or forests here in the north, more reliable than most lighters and waterproof.
Cons:
