not very good compatibility. i have a microsoft mouse with bluetooth support and this dongle picked it up but never paired. i bought the cheaper $2 one and worked better than this dongle. also, it's very difficult to insert in the usb port since it's a bit ticker than average. and when inserted, it's a pain to pull it out.
Overall:
small dongle. once you plug it in, there's no need to pull it off again.

Nice, tiny package that is well built. Works easily for BT mouse and file transfer.
Cons:
While it does work for stereo audio, it seems to have a significant lag-time and load on the data transfer. If you only listen to music, you probably won't notice. But it is a pain to use with video. And it doesn't have enough bandwidth to support audio and a BT mouse at the same time. Any mouse movement is likely to disrupt the audio.
Overall:
Good quality, and effective, but not for what I wanted it for (simultaneous BT audio, mouse, files...)

- this bluetooth adapter is very small and seeing what is available, is probably the closest you are going to get for a flush finish to your usb ports. it only sticks out about 1cm.- blue led lights up and flashes when connected

- blue led lights up and flashes when connected (kind of annoying after a while in a dark room)- software that comes with it (bluesoliel) is subpar. windows xp wasn't able to recognize it on it's own, so i had to use the software that came with it.- no audio support for computer. (would be nice to have it tie into computers speaker and mic for voip uses)- very small, you can easily loose it if you take it out of the usb port.
Overall:
object push works fine and that's what i use the most (transferring pictures and videos from cell to pc). it adds bluetooth support to your laptop (or desktop) for under $10, so it's a good deal.

There's an annoying blue light that always flickers when you have it connect to the usb port. But I supposed you could get some black tape and tape it over the light so it doesn't annoy you. Probably not that long of a range for transmission compared to alot of other bigger devices too.

- Excelly small. It builds so little out from the computer that the only reason to remove it would be if you run out of USB-ports.- Plug it in and the computer recognizes it and you're ready to transfer files.- A very useful BT transfer application is included on a mini-CD.
Cons:
- The only i can think of is that it might be TOO small. I managed to lose mine (note: Not because it fell out, but because I took it out and forgot where i placed it).
Overall:
If you're in need of a BT dongle, don't hesitate, this one does the job well and you'll hardly notice it.

Small and works with zero problems on linux.Other reviews mention annoying blue blinking, but on linux I start it without broadcasting (phones and stuff cant see it unless they know its in memory) it doesnt blink. So it only blinks on data transfer. Turning broadcast on causes the annoyingly bright blink.
Cons:
Somewhat "sharp" edges, not dangerously, but annoyingly when connected to netbook and having it on top of you.
